By preparing for and meeting specific requirements, community college transfer students have an opportunity to secure a guaranteed seat at 一个 of 的 加州大学校园es that offer guarantee (UC 戴维斯, 欧文, 默塞德, 河畔, 圣芭芭拉分校, 圣克鲁斯) through 的 Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG). 

Start with Your UC Transfer Admission Planner

The UC Transfer Admission Planner (UC TAP) is your tool to plan for transfer and seek 的 transfer admission guarantee to a participating 加州大学校园.

• UC TAP is an online tool to help students plan and track coursework (completed, in-progress, 和计划).
• UC TAP被链接到 协助.org so it counts up your UC-transferable units and UC-transferable gpa, which is unavaible 在课程的网页.
• Allows UC transfer admissions representatives and Chabot counselors to provide general and major specific feedback before TAG and/or UC Application periods. (这是一个伟大的 perk so you can ensure you are submitting 的 fullest and most accurate records for 入学考虑.)

Step 1: How to Secure your 加州大学的标签

• Research 的 specific requirements for 的 TAG at each participating 加州大学的标签 Campus:

Step 2: Monitor your progress in meeting UC Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) Requirements:

• Some 校园es offer an early review of your academic record, early admission notification, and guidance on major preparation and GE courses.

Step 3: Submit your UC TAP for your 加州大学的标签

• The TAG application is due approximately 一个 year before your intended transfer term, but course planning to meet requirements 并获得保证 begins as early as your first year at Chabot!
• Meet with 的 UC representative and/or your Chabot counselor regularly to review your UC TAP and monitor your progress, catch any errors, and set any TAG goals.
• 推荐时间:
  • Go over UC TAP with your Chabot counselor or 加州大学的标签代表 after completing 一个 semester of college; adjust education plan and incorporate completed, in-progress, and planned coursework into your UC TAP as needed. Discuss potential TAG 校园 options. 
  • March-July 2023: Go over UC TAP with 加州大学的标签代表 for feedback; make adjustments to course 根据需要注册. Narrow down TAG 校园 options.
